Kent City MI
This log home was painted with latex paint. Nightmare from the get go! We tryed corn blasting and every stripper known to strip wood. End up using a stripper from Beaver that strips off gaskets. Due to the extensive stripper cost we worked on the home in between other jobs to keep the cost down. We also replaced rafter end logs that were left hanging out in the elements. The latex was a very ugly cream color and wasn't letting the logs breath properly. It was only a matter of time til the logs collect moisture under the latex shell and rot.
TWP Cedartone stain was used in the re-staining of this log home by spraying with a industrial sprayer.See more projects
